    VAC banned, can I still play valve/source games online?

    Some people are saying any account vac banned can't play on vac servers for other games

    Other people are saying since it's a ban requested by battleeye that it doesn't act like a vac ban in rust/vac servers

    But I was vac banned on another steam account (for mw2/bo1 can't remember) and I can play CS:GO just fine.

    So who's right? Might make another steam account and family share them so I don't risk losing money

    I have a VAC'ed account so I will confirm this for you.

    VAC works for the source games and separate brackets.
    Say you get banned in Left 4 Dead 2 for whatever reason, you can't play ANY valve released games
    but you can still play games like Garry's Mod, etc. etc. Family shares don't work on VAC bans literally for that reason.

    I have many vac banned accounts. I have a vac banned (CSGO) account that has L4D2 and GMOD yet I can still play those two just fine.
