It can work on steam.
Just open steam and click on Game at the top, then click Activate a product on steam. Then keep clicking next and enter the product key and it will be on your Steam account

Thanks, but I know how to activate a Game at Steam, but I need to be sure it's a Steam key, and not just a CD Key I could get in a KeyGen

Doesn't it say if you can activate it at Steam?

I'm not interested in buying just a CDKey which lets me install World at War, but I would love to have it on my Steam account! (Just activating it like Modern Warfare 2)
