Hacking a specific steam account.

Hello,

Now I checked those both steam hacking threads and it looks like it doesnt work anymore thanks to steam guard.

However I heard that a lot of accounts got hacked in the past time by russians. I am pretty sure that they were not obtained through phisihing or keylogging.

I heard that there is a way to bypass the steam guard ( no idea if this is legit).

Now the first problem is obtaining the username. And then the password. Aren't brute force attacks efficient nowadays? Wouldn't it be possible to brute force one account in less than a week? Is there another way?

Second: you need a password list/ username list.
Third: bruteforcer
Fourth: I've cracked several hundred minecraft accounts, it only took a week, so you should get about 5 accounts in a day, if your lucky.

When trying to crack a single account, you have two options. Brute-Forcing and social engineering.

Both will take a lot of time, so don't think you can get the password in a day.
