Releasing TPS/CAPS in full including all tools, plugins, etc. Lemme know if you want it. I'll throw it up here for you guys
History lesson for the newbies:
About 2 years ago, a few other modders, couple coders and I started working on a project called CAPS, or Combat Arms Private Server. Basically, we found ways to use the Combat Arms maps, models, textures, etc. in another game client; the demo debug version of No One Lives Forever 2 in the Lithtech Jupiter Enterprise package. We started the project and even had a few maps and a game mode with a server running where we played for a few week. After awhile, it got to a point where we realized that without source code access and full understanding, we weren't going to be able to move forward with it. We were creating features in the game by the same method as these guys basically make the D3D health bars and stuff; Reading memory addresses and saving the info. After awhile, it died away, and it's just been sitting here since.
edit: yes I know this isn't a "release" thread, but seriously, who was the last person to post here? No one is going to check discussion.
I haven't been completely active in this section in so long, I can't remember who to tag that might or might not want these files.
I would complete the project IF I had funding of some kind, but I can't put the time into it it needs because frankly I need to eat, sleep, work and live. If I could drop work, I'd finish the project.
