Create your own bypass!

Step 1. Open up cheat engine and start a sandbox server on gmod.
Step 2.go into console and type sv_allowcslua 33
Step 3. Scan for 33 as Exact value - 4 Bytes, Then type into sv_allowcslua 246
Step 4. Next scan for 246. You should have 1 address and it will be green. Set that to 0 and join a server, once in change that to 1.


This saves people from having to inject bypasses that may or may not work.
If you save the cheat table and launch it next time you play gmod, as long as a patch hasnt happened it will work and you can just join a sever
THIS WILL WORK FOR ANY COMMAND THAT A BYPASS CAN USE ( sv_cheats, r_drawothermodels etc)

Doing a memory edit on sv_cheats and sv_allowcslua is stupid because if ever Garry decides to wake up GAC, you'd be fucked.

I would recommend using blue_bypass.

^this is a typical retarded answer (and no, Garry won't wake up GAC since he doesn't update Garry's Mod anymore, it's just inactive)
Use full C++ or call RunString from the Lua Interface if you really want to use lua.
Otherwise if you REALLY want to bypass sv_cheats or any ConVar, use Cheat Engine as Anti Cheats that uses callbacks won't detect it.

I use cheat engine all the time, it's fucking useful but using it to edit convars in Garry's Mod is a different story. If you actually took the time to look into client.dll you can see that GAC code is still present (dormant, but still present), all Garry has to do is wake it up, ban wave that shit and you'd be banned.

I'm not saying that Garry would ever do it, but it's still a possibility so why not take the time to write a propper bypass?
