RotMG Account Price Guide

Forewore: Remember, this is a guide. This is not always 100% correct. Do not rely on this at all times. In points of doubt, do research yourself and find out what your account might actually be worth. This is only to provide a respectable average over major parts of an account. You are not required to follow this guide in any way whatsoever.

Be aware: The RotMG market is horrible right now. Even if your account is worth hundreds, it is very difficult to sell that high.

40% Rule of Thumb

If you are unsure or do not follow these prices, an easy way to get a pretty good average price of your account is to use the "40% rule". What this means is that you take the total worth of gold spent on Vaults, Slots, Pets, etc. and reduce the cost to 40%. Example: If an account has 200$ in gold put into it, a good price to sell it for is around 80$.

If you notice accounts being sold, you will see that a large amount of them are being sold for around 30-50% of their gold value.

Character slots

• 1 extra slot - ~3$
• 2 extra slots - ~6.50$
• 3+ extra slots - 12$ + 4-6$ each after 3rd slot.

Vaults

• Typically 2-2.50$ per vault.

Stars

• Light blue, dark blue, and red typically do not add any value.
• Orange ~5-10$.
• Yellow ~20-40$.
• White ~50+$ depending on buyer.
• Stars heavily depend on the buyer, as most people don't really care except for white.

Pet Yard

• Common, uncommon, and rare typically don't add much value.
• Legendary ~20$.
• Divine ~30-40$ depending on buyer.

Pets

• This category depends extremely heavily on the buyer, the pet's max level, and the pet's abilities. This is going to be the least accurate.
• Common and uncommon typically don't add much value.
• Rare H/MH ~30-50+$
• Legendary H/MH/E ~50-100+$.
• Divine H/MH/E ~200-300+$.

Fame/Base Fame

• Account fame ~0.25-0.50 per 1000.
• Base fame heavily depends on character achievements, but is typically ~1.00-1.50$ per 1000.

Gold

• Any actual gold still on the account retains about 40% of it's value, so 500 gold would be around 2$.

UTs/Items

• Because tradeable items are way too sporadic, they will not be included in this guide.
• UTs are based off of usefulness and availability.

Gift chest items

• Most dyes/cloths are worthless, and backpacks are ~2-2.50$. Item boosters add no value as they are an easy daily.

Maxed characters

• Less random than items, but still hard to be 100% accurate.
• 6/8s are typically ~10$.
• 8/8s are typically ~20$.

Skins

• Tradeable skins depend heavily on item prices, so do some research.
• Gold skins are typically half their value.
• Don't even get me started on gentleman.
