Things that seem to be detected.

So after losing 5 accounts in half a week and reading about everyone else's bans. I think I've come up with some things could be causing this shit storm.

What seems to be detected:
Dropping cash // Receiving Cash
Spawning Objects // Attaching Objects to Players
Spawning NPCs // Spawning Body Guards
Dropping Weapons // Dropping Health // Dropping Armor
Spawning Vehicles // Saving Spawned Vehicles
Recovery Options // Stat Editing // Clearing Reports
Kicking Players // Crashing Players

Keep in mind, Rockstar is clearly no longer banning in waves. They are now flagging accounts and banning them as soon as possible, sometimes within minutes. Make sure your IP is changed before you reroll on a new alt because they log your IP.

Please comment with what you think is detected and feel free to discuss this topic as it's clearly a problem for us all.

Clearly R* will not stop because this is working great for them.

I think as long as you don't affect other players in any shape or form it should be okay. Also don't go on a killing spree with God mode and complain that you got banned even though you didn't spawn money...

Over the last few days I've been modding I've stuck to only doing the following and I haven't been banned:
- Spawning vehicles
- Upgrading vehicles
- Police ignore you
- No wanted level
- Give all weapons

I've not received a ban as I say. I think if you do silly things that alter your ammo/snack count to some stupidly high number, grief or otherwise mod in front of other players, drop cash or spam objects, alter your level or attributes, that you would very likely be banned.

editing playtime and adding max ciggs, snacks, drinks seems to be fine as this didn't result in a 2-3 hours ban on a alt i have.

My main got most likely banned within 2-3 hours when i spawned in some money, did not use my main account for a good amount of time, aswell as no use of any mod menu's aswell durning that time, only tried this out yesterday.

Then how are all these people getting hit in solo sessions? Two of my accounts were banned before I even had any friends on them while in solo sessions. I haven't been in any public lobbies since the these new bans rolled out and I'm down 5 accounts. Something everyone uses is detected.

My both the accounts (same ip) got banned
On my first account
I spawned some cash
Spawned car also saved them
Got weapons
Also by mistake I tried to clear reports

On my second account
I edited my rank and saved some spawned vehicles and got banned within 5 hours

I use mods only in solo sessions
My fist account is banned for 2 months until 5th September
And my other account got banned for 10days the until 21st august (4 days more )

Any stat editing and money related hacks are 100% detected. Meaning it doesn't matter what you do after doing either of these things you're getting banned no matter what. Also clearing reports is a form of stat editing FYI.

Vehicles spawning, modifying, and saving seems to be safe. I just tested it with The Force and it's been over 5 hours now without a ban on a fresh alt. I did nothing on the account I tested on other than the vehicles options. Didn't even teleport or anything like that.
Tunables and Apparel editing seem to be safe as well from a previous test yesterday.

That doesn't really prove anything. If you get hit they will notice everything you modded, even things they normally would of overlooked.

I read somewhere on the forums that they don't take away the modded vehicles from garage
They only wipe out cash.
Also one of my friend went crazy with these mods and edited his level to 8014 got banned for 2 weeks. after the ban duration r* only wiped out his cash and nothing else. :/

Well he lying as maximum ranking on the game be 8000.

I am was legit level 404 whit 38 milions legit and 30 cars, on first character
I moded second character to level 150 only, i got banned.

For sure the money, not sure what else. You will have to find that out when your ban is lifted.
