Before heading down tho, I would put on my paintball pants (I usually wear cargo shorts because the ones I wear are super comfortable and old) since they're easy to slide in, my paintball jersey (there's padding on the chest and arms which can prevent bites I believe), and then a hoodie. On top of my hoodie I would wear a vest (not bulletproof but another layer always helps). Then I'd put on my paintball mask because it can be cheap face protection. I would also attach my paintball ammo belt because I can take out the ammo tubes and put other useful things in there. Then I would open my drawer and put my switchblade and short kitchen knife in my pocket. Then I would head to the kitchen and grab the longest knife I can find. Then I would open my front door (which leads to a stairs area) and put on my sneakers (after putting socks on of course). I thought about whether or not I can use my guitar (my friend ordered it but never picked it up from my house) as a blunt weapon but I don't think it would function that well. I'd put my wallet in my back pocket just because I'd feel like I would somehow need it, tho I probably won't. I would also bring my phone and charger in case I can use it. I'd grab my backpack and stuff my small blanket in there (it's sooooo soft, I had it since I was a toddler and it's soooo hard to sleep without it, I know...childish but idc), cotton balls, nail clipper, schampa, beanie hat, sunglasses, mini notebook, a few pens, a pair of jeans, a few pairs of socks, 2-3 soap bars, cough medicine, anti-biotics, matches and lighter, hydrogen peroxide, painkillers, butane fuel canisters, bandaids, and a few tshirts. (thought about bringing a few bottles of alcohol in case I wanted to trade it to someone) This is assuming all of that would fit in my backpack of course, if it does, my backpack is going to be fat as fuck. Then I would begin to head downstairs using the backdoor. To be continued...
I honestly thought about wrapping my forearms (after I put on all the clothes and gear) in many layers of plastic wrap, but I don't think that would really help if a zombie tried to bite me.
