Might be one of those skype banning services we hear about these days, some scammer decided to revenge.

Contacted live chat and they were as helpful as a potato.. said I had to fill a form I had already filled, bla bla bla, wait 24 hours for response
said " NO INFO OF YOUR ACCOUNT ON OUR SYSTEM " yet 1- Username was taken 2- He acknowledged I had an account so yeah

You got banned, make a new account, if you still want to keep your old contacts, look for your contacts database in the skype files, good luck
