I know I saw that as well. I did not care and bought 80k for 80k flux. But if there was a dupe going on why not do it with flux. why try and resell. You happen to remember the guys name?

Large amounts of Glim aren't exactly easy to hold and are quite detectable by Trion. Lures are just a compressed version of glim. like on a 18:1 ratio.

maybe just buy lures from NPC, and sell it, let's thought he was use an other way to earn lures, not fishbot.

I got 5k lure for 20k glim ( the guys asked for 25 but he accept the trade before i can put the other 5k)

I got an update on this. Saw the guy selling Lures again. Here's what i know. He's russian, he says he knows about this post and that he wont post it. He told me it's a bug. Aside from this, idk anything else (also, im an idiot and forgot to write down his IGN, sorry)

maybe the bug is on the npc?

Maybe there's some way to do it, like have a friend next to you, you enter the NPC menu, drop the glim and the glim count somehow doesnt change

Saw someone selling lures earlier today as well, and the price was cheaper than the standard 3:1 glim ratio of buying the lures. Not sure what the deal is.

Had a guy sell me cheap lures today as well. Unlike others in this thread, I have his IGN: Fefo_90. Asked him without being direct and he told me to "hush and enjoy your cheap lures". He also said he is not Russian. I believe I will enjoy them
