the whole iPhone idea is fucking dumb. there are plenty of other phones that do the exact same things as iPhone. the only difference is that iPhone is touch screen, and it's from iPod..which gives it the right to be terribly overpriced

I would buy the iPhone to show off, just because I can. But I find it ridiculous that people lined up in front of the Apple stores in NY and LA for half a mile and camped outside just to get their iPhones, rofl. But yea, don't get an iPhone just yet. It's friggin $600 USD with a 2 year contract with AT&T for the 8GB model. They only come in 4 and 8GB models aswell, If it were 30GB, then it would probably be worth getting, but when I heard it was 4 and 8 I said fuck it. Also, Apple is releasing them country by country to create demand for them. It's also because they're catering to the markets with the highest amount of electronics consumers. So unless you're American, you can get to the back of the line. Canada won't see them for a while because our population is little over 35 million. Anyways, save your money. I may be sounding like a hypocrite because I've wanted one since they announced it, but when I watched the launch on AOTS on G4TV I said fuck it. Just my opinion.

or buy a cheap but good $500 laptop and get an wireless connect card and pay $30 a month for internet everywhere and get an bluetooth headphone with it.

You can now like half unlock it so you can use phone cards instead of paying huge for a plan and get like all the features.
