Essential? Have you & your friends ever heard of Twitter so you can use that while Skype is down?

My friends don't really use Twitter, it isn't that main stream.
Also, how would we tell our friends when skype is down?

Twitter just isn't for me. IMO Skype shits on Twitter.

Twitter just isn't for me.

I guess stick with only Skype then.. While me I can contact my friends on Facebook / Twitter for good while Skype doing its five or ten hour update for no apparent reason
