Charlotte- Ep. 13- Pre & Post Discussion

I know I bashed on this last week[?] but shit, all I've been thinking about is this ending.

It's a mix of emotions between wanting a happy ending, hoping that the ending doesn't make me cry, and after watching the preview, wondering if Jun Maeda will completely destroy us all.

---Pre Episode 13---

Well, personally, after watching the episode 13 preview and having people translate it, it comes down to "That's right..I was supposed to go see her." Obviously after going to plunder all the abilities there are drawbacks. He's shown no real stability when it came to handling a few powers, but now he has to plunder hundreds of thousands of them. The only few things I see happening:

-He completely loses his mind but Nao manages to save him because he confessed to her and that kind of shit seems possible.
-He'll die, but not after going back to her and completing his mission as promised in episode 12.
-He doesn't die, but one of the powers plundered caused him to not age, and everyone he knows is either dead or about to die[If this happens I'm out]
-Memory loss. He's slowly slipping away from what he used to know and he's going to become a potato, BUT, the Singer brings him back to his senses[Makes sense since she hasn't shown up since saving Nao's brother, which was useless from the Time Leap]


I know this series needs more than 13 episodes to be better, but I think given the 13 episodes, Jun's done a decent job. Muh heart cant handle the possibility of a sad episode.

Well what can I say. They gave us the happy ending but in a meh way.

>Grabs thousands of powers as we already knew
>He goes nuts after two countries
>Eventually slips into madness
>See's the translation book Nao gave him
>Brings him back
>Last power gained
>COURAGE

He literally lived from looting a power called Courage, from a loli who saved him.

>Brother comes in helicopter
>Takes him back to hospital
>Nao is cry
>Happy ending


I didnt catch much since it was the Chinese stream and obviously not translated, but that's the jist of it. Entire series had a happy ending. They also just announced something called Rewrite, which I have never heard of but /a/ is having a fucking heart attack over.
