Is this processor / graphics combo good enough to run Fallout 4 ultra settings?

Right now it's

AMD R7 230 or something with 3.5GHz Intel Core i5-6600K processor 6mb l3

I'm going to upgrade the graphics to XFX 8 GB R9 390X (400 dollars).


Just wondring if this will meet Fallout ultra settings requirements and if the R7 will beable to run the game. I've never messed with computer hardware before, I bought a pre-set but I need to upgrade the graphics but the processor is fine from what I can tell.

get the GTX 980 instead of the r9

a 390X will definitely run Fallout 4 at ultra settings at 1080p and maybe 1440P but definitely not 1600p or 2160p. Just make sure you get a 390X with a really GOOD cooler and your power supply can handle the extra power.
