Whats the point of scraping?

So people want to scrap usernames, I assume its for cracking, but honestly, I don't see how how you could crack these accounts. You'd be lucky to crack like 10 in 24 hours...

You can crack them for unmigrated accounts. You can migrate them to your email and use the account or sell it.

But is this type of cracking good? Its all trial and error with thousands of passwords. Like with a combo list you at least got the passwords from somewhere (so its kind of an educational guess at the password)
