I got mine removed, the removing itself doesn't hurt cus it gets anesthetized. I recommend you getting peas, put them in a small plastic bag and freeze them. Then when your back home from the dentist grab the bag of peas and hold it against your cheek to cool the swelling and decrease the pain.
