The best thing here is that you do it always, "simple" smudging that looks real good, well done.
10/10
This is just a quckie i've just finished.
It's super simple, just smudge, color correction and blending. I had to cut the render so please forgive me for any little black border, also i've used my backup monitor so if you see some stain in the background it's because i couldn't see them. x)
The reason i'm uploading this is, firstly, to contribute to mpgh after a long break, it's not much but it's something, and to show a few people that with little effort and the brush+smudge tool it's possible to make something good looking. It does not have a big "WOW how did you do that" factor as it's obvious how it was done, tho i believe it's pleasant to look at. =)
Once again, sorry if the whites are a little messed up, my old monitor doesn't let me see them correctly.
Wouldn't say there is much smudging actually happening here.
I can see most of the brush strokes, but the blending for just brush work is quite nice
I'd like to see some gold in it and some lighting.
Take the white and put it down on the bottom right instead of upper left.
As the darker colors on her back should be where you have the most "white."
Maybe some blue highlights??
Scholar scheme could've been improved,
^See what I did there^

The blue lights on Nyx's suit were given a highlight, her left side, near the red portion of the image has seen its shadows changed to match the smudge.
The big brush strokes you see aren't brush strokes, just balls of color i smudged around. ^.^
Tho i agree that some "gold shinies" would've been a cool addition.
As for the swap of colors, i don't know, due to how i've made the image it would be kind of a pain. What i could do is replace the white parts with a smooth transition between red and light yellow. =)
Appreciated. <3
