Unfortunately, no.
Your best bet would be to download the DirectX SDK which comes with examples and look through those.
(P.S. You can also use GDI instead of DirectX)
Hello. My name is Cooper and I am a new to the C++ Language, but before you close out of this page thinking this thread is like every other noob thread, just listen to me.
I know 8+ languages (to lazy to count, but more than 8 I know that) as my two "go to" languages being C# and Java. I can read and understand just about any form of code as long as it does not go past the base API (In C++ for example, DirectX... I need some learning).
So I am into Game Hacking. I've done some manipulating with C# and touched it with C++, now that I know I can pick up C++ game hacking, I need the "next step", or the "ice breaker". Most tutorials are all for beginners that don't even know what a for loop is, and will teach you how to change the amount of ammo in your gun clip, or something less.
So here is by "ice breaking" question: How do I start developing overlays?
I did some research and it looks like I need to know some DirectX. Are there any tutorials that will lead me to the success of developing an Overlay? Are there templates waiting to be picked up and start drawing items to the screen? Where do I start?
I need to "break the ice" and dive deeper than a console application with a few pathetic simple hacks.

Here's a source for you.
