I just got banned for a week, but used it for several weeks. Haven't really been doing much dirty stuff. Mostly spawn and tuning stuff, race cars at warp speed. Though I guess that Yacht may have had something to do with it

Yesterday I got banned from my other account, so I had a hunch and made a test ... created a new account (yup, I bought the game again) and drove around stealing cars and selling. Of course I got hacked in the process a few times, people took my weapons and then gave them back to me. This time they gave back all the weapons, which I used of course. No money was spawned on me or picked up by me.
Got banned on that account a couple hours later. So be aware that, whatever method Rockstar is using, it is now banning based on things you receive from modders. I don't think there's a file detection implemented as no extraneous files exist on my GTAV folder, which is Steam based btw.
So, be aware that just by using stuff you receive can be a problem.

Everything which is using code calls not intended for online seems to be detected. Theoretically even glitching vehicles into your garage will get you banned. I need to wait 10 days to run more tests.

Also catched a 1 Week ban (Safe Mode) seem they busted this hack.

100% detected. I used it for an hour, didnt do any crazy shit and got a temp ban. Pretty sure all hacks are detected at the moment, just best to stay away from them altogether for the time being
