Your source regarding to Microsoft dropping windows 7 support? Maybe you are mistaken by Windows Vista or Windows XP? Because Windows XP support was dropped a year ago.

It's fairly easy to block spying on Windows 10. There's a program that blocks basically all of the spying (Destroy Windows Spying).

Windows 10 is better in most aspects.

Windows 10 is better for AMD users. For NVIDIA I would choose W8.1 as W7 is too outdated but still miss W7 features though.

I'd recommend windows 8.1, but according to your problems with fps drop you must have installed some shit that runs in the background?
give razer cortex a shot, it stops all apps when you are in game
