Well they rarely do anymore. Its a bit difficult now, if you are a pro player and get scammed its much easier i remember reading something about KennyS getting hacked and losing like all his shit but because he had direct contact with valve he got it all back in a matter of minutes.

Could also be that if you got a different MAC-Adress, idk though.

You shouldnt want to do this. Thats tampering with a market of a digital item that you can purchase for real money. skins shouldnt even be paid for as its just pixels.

Yeah thats patched , im pretty sure , you must provide very detailed proofs and also your steam must be accessed by some else etc. Isnt easy to get skins also steam support answering isnt fast like 2-3 weeks.
