It used to be back in the day. Every week I'd post Naruto predictions and discussions, there'd be a bunch of responses. Over time activity declined a shit ton.

If we made this section casual friendly(TL: What I'm attempting to prevent) I'm sure there would be a ton of activity. Obviously it would take time to build back up, but let's be real here. Do you want to see threads about SAO, One Piece, Naruto, AgK, SnK, and the likes Every. Single. Day?

Well if you're wondering why the section's dead you answered your own question. Any shitposting automatically gets whipped into shape by @Takatsuki and then people are scared to post.

You essentially answered your own question. This is an anime section, as long as it's anime I couldn't care what it was about. God forbid someone makes a SAO, OP, Naruto, etc thread they get flamed for no real reason.

I don't care if you make the thread. Just don't make the thread, praise it when it doesn't deserve praise, and expect me to ignore it.

Example:

"Akame ga Kill was amazing. DISCUSS."

• I really enjoyed Tatsumi. He had so much character development and was an outstanding main character. Obviously he should end up with Esdeath, but for now he's with Mine. Oh, and that ending was so sad ;-;. I can't believe they killed the MC after everyone else died!

So many things about that sentence is wrong, and it doesn't take a brain to realize it. First off, none of that actually fucking happens in the manga. If you want to discuss something, keep it canon. Secondly, the MC doesn't go after the bitch that killed all his friends.


I'm willing to do this on any mainstream title, but I think my point is clear.




I've considered many things for reviving this section, and the only thing that's worthy of keeping around is seasonal discussion, manga and LN discussion. Recommendations aren't really my thing, but I might do a recommendation every day starting this Friday since I'll be on Spring Break.
