Hey guys, I'm really not that knowledgeable when it comes to computers but i was wondering which parts should i get for a decent gaming computer for around 700 US? My friend is building it for me so all i have to do is buy all the parts.

I'm not going to bother giving you a list of parts since there's a shit ton of builds there already, but I will give you advice. Firstly you should really learn about each individual part your going to buy, it may seem tedious at first, but you might find a hobby out of it. Building your first PC is a great experience so I recommend just learning about the parts and making a build your self. You have to consider many things such as are you upgrading in the future? Is your case going to be big enough? Will you save money in a long run? Those are questions you have to ask yourself in order to have the best build for your self. Sure these builds that everyone suggested are great, but you might want to provide a bit more info on your situation and such. As for my final tip I recommend you look into buying used, some may be against this, but personally had a great experience with used/refurbished parts. To eliminate as much risk as possible for buying used I recommend you look into buying from a local seller from Kijiji/craigslist so you can test out the part and such. Or you can look to see if they offer warranty.
