Knife lunging for pc

So I'm seeing all these sick glitches for knife lunging but knife lunging isn't working for me on pc is that because no aim assist or what or do I need to use my controller can someone please help before they all get patched thanks

If you use a controller on PC I am pretty sure it adds a bit of aim assist, but you can't plug in your controller and use your mouse/keyboard, you have to use the controller.
