144hz is the max you'll need probably for cs:go.
I'm planing to upgrade my monitor to a gaming monitor.
Mainly I play CSGO , GTAV and NFS.
My choices are :
- BenQ 27" Gaming Monitor XL2730Z| 144hz | 2560 x 1440 | 1ms700$- ASUS 27" Gaming monitor ROG Swift PG279Q| 165hz | 2560 x 1440 | 4ms850$- ASUS 27" Gaming monitor ROG Swift PG27AQ| 165hz | 3840 x 2160 | 4ms900$- Acer 35" Gaming Monitor Predator Z35| 200hz | 2560 x 1080 | 4ms1100$
What do you guys think ?

▲Send me to hell and I'll shit on the Devil!▲
what are the specs of your computer?
I just got the 27" BenQ one and its pretty good... Its still a hard decision though
if you got the cash I'll go with : - Acer 35" Gaming Monitor Predator Z35
ASUS 27" Gaming monitor ROG Swift PG279Q
unless you want a bigger screen for shit.
get 35.
27 feels big enough for me.
I think for optimal gaming you want 24". As far as I've heard competetive gamers use that size. So pick one of those 27" I'd say. I've heard many great things about benQ
ASUS 27" Gaming monitor ROG Swift PG27AQ - Only because of 4k. However, it depends on whether or not your computer is powerful enough to run those games at 4k. Probably the PG27AQ though.
I have 3 PG279Q's and I can definitely say that they are great. Dont hesitate to get them
