Just a question about a bSpotted vis check [not me asking how to get it working]

I've seen some cheats with bSpotted vis checks that are done specifically to read if the player is spotted by the "local" player. Now, i got the bSpotted offset, made a bSpotted vis check, and everything worked fine. I don't understand how i would see if only MY player has spotted them, and not all players on my team.

It's a bitmask, mask out your own player by using bit shifting.
There's plenty of resources about how to get it done online.
