Small help in to external ESP

Hi. For a few days I'm trying to create my own external esp. External, because I heard that it's easier to code as first hack. Still I don't know what should I choose, box or glow esp.
I'm not newbie into C++, but I'm not very good at this too. I'm searching in forum a few source codes, analyze them and then I make new code with some things from each other. Already I have done ProcMem.cpp and ProcMem.h (This wasn't hard, because every code of this looked smiliar) and also downloaded overlay(can't remember the name, cuz I'm on phone now) with hDirectx.h I guess. I have created header file where I define offsets and other stuff.

Now I'm a bit stuck, because I don't know what to do next. Anyone, who can tell me what to do, give to me some tips or advices please do this I'm not waiting for copypasta because I want learn not just cheat at the game, what I'm good at.

If this is your first hack, do glow esp. Its easier and a whole lot simpler.

I don't know who told you that externals are easier than internals, they are generally not ( if you don't use engine functions internally ).

Apart from this, think about what an ESP does. It draws a box around every player.
Learn how the engine works and find out how you can iterate through the players and get their position, once you have those, WorldToScreen them and draw a box around them.
