    Owning a Tiger

    Hey MPGH,

Currently, I've been quite interested in owning a tiger. I know how much money it will cost, where to get one, how to raise it, what I need to have, and basically everything. I'm looking at picking up a cub for around $2,500. Is it worth it to grab the cub? I would have a trainer and would have a cage since it's illegal to own a tiger without a cage that can hold them when they are adults.

This is just something on my mind. It's around $67,000 for the first year for the price of buying the tiger / cage / food /etc. and around $33,000/yr after that. Also, I will be moving to Texas or Nevada where I can legally own a tiger.

If you can contribute an INTELLIGENT opinion, it'd be appreciated.

That's sweet that you're interested in getting a tiger. Watcha gonna name it if ya get one? Quite some $$ will be leaving your pockets for this cub if you do buy it. Treat it well

Really haven't thought of a name, if I get one I'll be sure to update MPGH with it.

haha be careful they eat people alive when they grow up make sure you can actually take care of it and dont plan on releasing it in the woods somewhere to wreak havoc i think you can as long as its not endangered but you may need some sort of exotic animals permit or something

Well, I have the money to do so. I'll have the money to do it for up to 20 years, which means I can handle it for all it's life.

(Yes, I will have money to support myself for my whole life in a nice house with taxes etc.)

Well, that's nice to have a tiger, but If you want my advice, help people with this money instead. And It's still up to you, it's nice to do any of them anyways. Like seriously, many people don't have money to buy some food, imagine what this budget could do to help these people.

that's the dumbest answer ever .

    _______________

Anyway , i don't think getting a tiger is worth it , yes it is cool and badass , but it costs a lot you need to invest a LOT of time to it , and this thing can kill you anytime while he's mad , plus this animal is meant to live wild

Take a dog or a cat they are both urbanised animals that doesn't live wild anymore , they are way less dangerous and more affective and cost less

that's my opinion tho cuz i think you can still be a swaglord by owning a big giant dog / a white husky or smth like this .

That would be an awesome thing to do, as long as you can financially handle it and are able to spend enough time with it.
