So I'm looking for a VPN that'll cover my Skype. For example, I might be Skyping my mates and one of them might want to be a dick, grab my ip using a Skype resolver and boot me offline. What's a VPN I can use to prevent them from getting my real IP from a Skype resolver?

Yes, you can. A VPN is a service that allows you to indirectly get acces to all your information and data of the internet. So how it normally works is like this:

Your Computer -> Router (with it's IP) -> Friends Router -> His Computer In the case you use Skype since it's peer2peer

With a VPN this will happen

Your Computer -> Router -> To Server/Router of the VPN Service -> Friends Router -> His Computer
So as you see, your friend will now receive info not directly from you but from a server that you hired to send your information to him. So if they search for an IP they will get the IP of the VPN Server and not of your Router.

I know it's a little more technical than this geeks, but it suffices the answer for him

@Sir Sam I'm not saying OP is a scammer but, he might be looking for a VPN he could use to scam without getting his MPGH Banned because of different IPs have encountered douches like this before

Use cyber ghost vpn, strong and free. But if you want a good one and fast, buy from strong core

Most skype resolvers will store your old IP's. Nothing can be done, other than making a new skype

Ipvanish is great, used to use it, would recommend anyday. It's not free though.
