I don't remember getting the altar ( I also haven't played for probably 8 months as well tho ) I went to my house and there is a altar of catablog and when I click it there is a quest but it says "Required Items: Legion Titan, Altar of Catablog" in red text. Does this mean it's just like a cosmetic altar and not the real altar or something?

I don't think so and you'd also need Legion Titan (dage's bday)

Check your house inventory.
If you have Altar of Caladbolg there then it's geniune. Probably from the Treasure Chest drop.

You need both Legion Titan and Altar of Caladbolg to accept the quest.
That text will remain in red unless all item requirements are met.

Update: It was the real altar guys, I got Titan real quick and I accepted the quest. What is the best way to get a soul shard for non members?
