So I was playing on an alt account which was ranked Silver 3.

Now I played with 3 hackers who all got banned recently so I had to win again to regain my rank but is there a reason why I got Silver 1?

Neither of my rank up games were played with the hackers. In fact, I lost most of my matches when I queued with these people who were hacking.

Valve compensated for the fact that you played with 3 hackers so it took ALL those points away and when you reranked it put you in the bracket of elo that you are currently set in.

Kinda sucks since I played a game yesterday to get my rank and carried my S3 team... And the other game I played when I lost my rank, I carried again.
