Penny Stocks?

You could invest in real stocks but the brokerage fee is like $30 and usually each share cost $50. I'd need like money in the $10,000's

My friend started with less than $500 CAD and was able to profit a lot out of it. It'll take longer to make more out of it since you're initial investment will be lower, but it's still better than going for penny stocks.

Read articles on Google. There's also a book I've bought recently on how to invest your money in stocks etc.

Stay away from penny stocks, or you can count on that $3k turning to $0. They're way too volatile and they don't trade enough to sell quickly. Stick with normal stocks, trading fees are $7-10 buy/sell (at least in the US). It's not enough money to diversify though.

Fees here are about 20-30, which I think is a lot. I know stocks is a waiting game but I would like to wait as little as possible. So like the ability to trade it back as soon as a stock goes up by one dollar

Stocks are very commonly misinterpreted. You only hear about the good things. The kid makes 20k a month, but that's one guy. Nobody ever tells you about the amount of people that failed.

It's kind of the same deal of listening to famous peoples' success stories.

The strategy they used worked for them, and so now they have the ability to tell the story of their success, and tips on how to do it.

However, those people are the very small minority.

Many more people have tried and failed to get where they are, sometimes with the same strategies. You need to look at both sides of the spectrum.

Personally, I don't really believe in penny stocks

So I have about $3,000 worth of BTC right now. My uni break is coming up soon and when it does, I should have more than $10,000 worth of bitcoin (probably before my break). I'll probably trade in my BTC for irl money and pay off my uni fees which is about $7,000. I'll have $3,000 left over, which I don't want to waste. I want to use that $3,000 to invest into penny stocks (because $3,000 isn't enough to invest into larger valued stocks, to my understanding). I know the general gist of the stock market but I want to know a lot more before I invest.

So do any of you guys have any guides or tutorials you used before investing?
