Nope think about it like this. There a millions of packages being sent a day over 300,000 are drugs. the police dogs are not gonna sniff millions of packages. they only check packages if 1. they have a warrant 2. the package looks sus (its damaged, weird company name, no return add) Even if they do check ur package and find drugs (SUPER SUPER SUPER unlikely) they dont have proof that you purchased it.

I guess you are right. If you do it smartly then there is very low chances of you getting caught.
You can always say that you didn't know what the packages was, you just knew someone sent a package.
There is no way to link you to the transaction.
