It's possible. Just not possible with this file... I have added a check to prevent people from hosting lobbies since it causes problems if the lobby ID is bad. If you spoof the lobby ID to a valid one so the native game client doesn't kick clients out of the game, you will be able to host. I might add functionality to edit the lobby ID with an INI file if I update this.

I know, but there aren't currently any mod menus for this patch. I would want it to 1.2.208 to be able to use mod menus again.

You can not just play MW2 with a Vac ban. Idk if you understand this. They recently fixed vac bans so we need this dll patch to play again. So no we can not play with a vac on 1.2.208. It will continue saying steam connection error. So we want a dll patch for 1.2.208 too so we can use liberation and modloaders again.

Had some time over the weekend and decided to take a closer look to see what can be done about the "steam connect failed" message that VAC- banned players are getting. I was surprised to find out that there are some serious vulnerabilities in the way call of duty validates its players with steam. Long story short, I was able to create a patch that will allow you to play multiplayer despite being VAC banned.

What this WILL let you do:

• Join games in online matchmaking
• Play solo private matches

What this will NOT let you do:

• Create parties
• Host lobbies
• Join other friends

There are some limitations to what you can do, since there is no way to create a valid steam lobby as a banned player. You can however, join other players hosting "VAC- secured" servers.

To use, just inject the .dll file.
After injecting you will be able to enter the menu and join a game.

You can use Extreme injector

You'll have to disable steamcloud and delete the stat files along with the steam user folder.

Search on YouTube for stats reset mw2

Get used to it you'll have to do it every 4 hours or so
