You hear it, time and time again. With every single patch, maplestory is becoming a little more difficult to hack. And with the overload post bigbang, how can anyone find the motivation to invest time into the game anymore? There's just too many things to do. Most people just pay their way up to the top rather than playing the game for what it used to be, an entertaining and enjoyable game experience. So why are you still playing?

i used to create maplestory hacks because they were easy and anyone with a simple knowledge of codding could do it. The game died and all the hack developers feel it is useless to create something if the game is slowly dying and less people playing it. MS is hackable except you're putting in that work for nothing :l

Actually there's still a lot more hacks being made. The population and hacking population has risen a ton since Reboot was released. The older servers aren't doing too well, but on a normal day (not 2x) at around 4PM-5PM EST the 1st channel is always full and every other channel halfway or more.

Every time I visit the game (roughly a couple times a year), there's always something new.
Can't bother to catch up with all the new things.

Too many updates is the problem lool.

i would play if they did a better job with the population, i couldnt play when they did the server transfers, now that im back my server is dead

Too many updates and after taking a year break and coming back so many things have changed. Just hard to keep up.

Can't seem to stay long enough to catch up with all of the new content. And if I try to hop on a high level old character it feels too confusing to jump back into. Settling on MS2 for now.
