Great clip .. thanks . I didn't relaize it had such a tiny team....like 15 people only?
I thought they had an army of folks working on it. Haven't played it yet, but looking forward to.
don't even know what no man's sky is..
Because they promised stuff that they didn't actually do. (Although I understand why they didn't do it, because small team and stuff)
But where the hate (from what I think) came from is the fact that they promised it in the first place, he knew about his small team and that he wouldn't have the funds to keep up servers (Going with the "Multiplayer" promise) but he still went ahead and said it would be multiplayer.
Which basically comes out as him kind of lying, and it wasn't some small feature, it was a whole multiplayer part of the game. If something that big (From a game's perspective) is lied about, how many other things did he lie about? (Well, from the video you can already see a lot, though most is technically not a lie)
That's where the hate comes from, lies, and no true "Infinite" possible creatures and planets (Which was again kind of a lie)
So in conclusion, the hate comes from hyped up expectations created by the company, which then let us down because we expected even greater things than the company actually told us.
No Man's Sky is actually a good game, it's just hyped to a level that people think it's shit because they expected the expectations to be true and are now blinded by the broken promises and the hate that was created by this.
(At least, that's what I think hehe.)

its the fact that everyone hyped on the hype train, expecting the next Skyrim, and we were all painfully disappointed by the mediocre game it turned out to be.
Because multiplayer was promised in the past but it slowly faded away as the game was going to be released?
And there's nothing to do basically?
Just a overpriced indie game with alot of bugs. They need to fix it.
Why? Sean Murray.
When people say they have built their own PC.
They lied about a lot. Simple as that. He might seem like a nice guy and shit but a lie is a lie.
