So lots of noobs are posting about how to use WinRAR...So what could be better than an easy link to provide them?
On with the show...
I won't go into how to install it...That's pretty straightforward and if you don't understand how to install programs then you definately won't grasp this information.
The two buttons any noob should learn are the "Add" button in the top left, and the "Extract To" button adjacent to it.
As usual, the "File" menu provides you with basic I/O functions, most importantly, "Open Archive". You can open .RAR files, .ZIP files, .7Z files...hell, pretty much any archive file through WinRAR with this command button if you haven't associated the file types with WinRAR. This is easily done when you install the program, if done, you can simply open all archives by double clicking them in Windows Explorer.
What I have on the screen here are archives. Let's open one. Just double click on an archive if it's visible in the browser.
