How long do you spend on average on a sig?
As title sais, and usually how many layers are in yours? Im asking because i beleive that i spend way tooo much time making a sig of mine. Usualy mine are around:

40 + layers

mine takes me about 30 min for 10 layers but with 30+ i might get confused and mess up so takes about 1-2 hrs
i'm not good yet but i use like 10-20 layers

Anywhere from 20 Layers to 50 layers.
If I spend more than 30-45 minutes on a sig and i'm not happy with it, i usually start again.

It was harder to do this when I first started, but I know what I want it to look like, and I'm able to go through steps to get that result because I'm always learning new things about PS.

wow seems like i am a slow poke o.o
30-50 layers on a standard render sig, less on a stock, normally max 1hr sometime 3-4 days with 30 mins to 1hr each day

I put a bunch of stuff together and call it a day. I don't keep track
