Zoom in mod / no sniper workaround

Playin in a server thatll ban you for using sniper scopes, so I was wondering if there was a hack to zoom in, other than just aiming down sights. could say bind it to z or alt.

On a related note, what if I changed the weapon model names for the guns? So that I could have a sniper but it shows up as a rifle or something else? not entirely sure how thatd work, just thinking out loud.

use windows. windows OS has a magnifier and if you set it to the center of your screen you can adjust how far to zoom in on that area. so when you see a enemy just look at the magnifier window
