Change pass to unverified old accounts

Name of the problem you are facing: Changing Email or password

Summary of it: When I try to log into the account I am greeted with a link to change password. When Im at the link I can't change email nor password since it says that my current password is incorrect even though I just logged in with it.

My operating system: Windows 7

x64/x32: 64

Detailed explanation of it:
I have a handfull of accounts that I've cracked that when I try to log in I get this: https://imgur.com/a/8Pupo

When I follow the link I have to log in and when I do that I am greeted with this page but when ever I try to change the email or password it says incorrect password even though I just used the same password to log in to the accounts: https://imgur.com/a/ZB5T1

Would anyone here know how I would go about gaining access to the accounts or fix this error or whatever it is?

This is a known bug that i've encountered for years. 100% sure there is no way around it, I think it only happens to accounts which haven't chosen a name yet.

I made an account for 2 years ago. Never logged into it. Tried to log into it last year. Got this problem.

Hmm i believe this had happen to me before except its not a cracked account but a real one. I just cleared my cookies and cache and worked after that. Im not sure if that would work again

Happened to an account I made in early 2014, tried logging into the account in August, and it let me log in, but I was required to change my username.

This happens when accounts are low levels and inactive (haven't played a game in more then 2 years)
