Yh this is true but if they figure out you trying to fuck them then they do have the ability to refuse a refund after a fail refund attempt.

This. You have 30 days to send it back Refund takes 1-3 weeks that's the max you have to wait if doesn't work you can send back without any problems

Yep, there isn't really any risk tbh. Also, on the Apple website it says you only have 14 days to return it but again, this is superseded by your rights as a consumer to 30 days. Just don't open it until it's confirmed!
