😎 Buy Perk from Shrine of Any Week

Dead by Daylight shrine shop system has a rotation system that changes shop content every week. However this system is flawed and likely to have a permanent issue of cheating on time. It is easy to buy the perk from any week if you miss them, or buy then ahead of the time if you really want them now.

HOW-TO:

1. Prepare
You need to know which week the perk is from. It is not possible to predict future perks right now for you, but you are able to figure out this later.

2. Block Time Servers
Open your host file using an elevated notepad (this is the easiest way).
* Find your NotePad on your computer, right click and run as admin.
* Open exactly this file: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
* Add those three line at the bottom of the file: (Don't add a # before them...)
127.0.0.1 www.timeapi.org
127.0.0.1 api.timezonedb.com
127.0.0.1 api.geonames.org

3. Open your game
I don't wanna explain this step.

4. Change your time on your system to another week.
I don't wanna explain this step either.

5. Open Shrine of Secrets in the game.
WHOLA, you did it! The game will lag for a few seconds, but when the shop content appears in front of you, those content will be based on the week of your computer's time.

6. Repeat step 4 & 5 to see other week's perks.

Why this is working:

The game uses internet time to check for which week we are at. The game will have 3 tries using 3 different time service provider (as listed on step 2). If all of them fails, the game will fall back to your computer's time.

Is it best to have steam cloud disabled for this? Or does it not matter since we're just changing the time?

Hey, So I do everything in order, but when I try to save the file it just says "hosts already exists do you want to replace it" and some other stuff, I press yes then it goes "access denied" Yes I opened notepad in administrator, but I don't know what I am doing wrong, if anyone can help it would be appreciated

Hey, this worked for me but it only worked like today is 10th, I set the date for 11th and It worked, but when I change it to 17th or anything else, it says "Shrine of secrets refreshes in 30291 days).. Why? Do I need more step 2 things? Please reply

Yes it is, use this method and instead of setting the time forward set it backward and you can have all the teachable perks.

I told you to set time backward not forward... No there is not such thing, just set the time backward as many weeks you want until you get all you need.
