Wow, thanks for all the info. I just followed the tutorial and failed one but succeeded with a Charge HR on another attempt. I guess my main issue would be the times when the rep asks for a return. Any tips to avoid that or circumvent it? I am using the "display isn't working" method.

Personally I haven't read the 1st link with the tutorial but afaik you can still say its simply not turning on and they'll call something on the battery life
That's not worth fixing for them and mostly they dont ask for it back. Some reps are just dicks and they claim you have to send it back - not too much you can do about that. Get a new account and start over

Do not pay anyone to teach you; their "secret" tips & tricks are all public. It all comes down to the rep you get. If the rep asks for the device back, just make an excuse like "I'm going to speak with my husband/girlfriend/etc, and will get back to". Then try again with that same account after 30mins and see what happens. Additionally, what NiBrA88 said, calling them has a higher success rate because they don't ask for pics, and will only go through a couple troubleshooting steps. In the end, it just comes down to the rep, and how well you can manipulate them.

One other thing that I have noticed is, if you are doing UK orders, they usually ask for the tracker to be sent to them. Just something I have come across while selling my Fitbit service.

I repeat, do not buy any methods, they are all public.
