Well I guess people prefer different things. In a common sense standpoint, small stuff in the beginning and working towards bigger ones in the end is better than giving huge gifts in the beginning. Because then your gf expects huge gifts from then on.

By "big gift" we don't mean like an actual huge gift we mean expensive I thought that was clear e.g my big gift for xmas was a PS4 Pro.
And idk if you meant it would be more meaningful if you got a big gift over a small gift but if that's the case, it all depends how much of a gold digger she is.
