Wifi drops when connecting to vpn

tried connect to ipvanish wifi just drops like it says im not connected to my home wifi anymore?

Try re-installing it. Probably driver error.

When you connect to a VPN your internet does drop and re-connect though

most vpns install a "network adaptor" looks like yours is having an issue
example:


try a different vpn. I use Tunnel Bear

I installed IPVanish client yesterday on my laptop and I didn't have any issuses with it. Works flawlessly. I don't know what could be problem.

Problem with your adapters mate. Just use a different VPN all together unless you really want to toy around with this. Good luck.

If use VPN, my speed maintain as normal just ping will go high 100++

I only use VPN. Not using my normal IP for 90% of the time
