Sudden Attack Skins Update

ALL THE CUSTOM SKINS AND THE TEXT FOR THE TUTORIAL ARE MADE BY ME. IF THERE IS ANY THREAD IN ANOTHER FORUM THAT HAS THESE SKINS, THEN THEY ARE LEECHED FROM THIS THREAD. (9 March 2010)

**SKINNING IS UNDECTABLE. PLEASE DO NOT POST IN THE COMMENT THAT THIS IS DETECTED**

This package includes


1. My Custom Made skins
- With red and blue addidas gloves
- Silver Weapons (TRG with red scope)

2. Character Skins that are not Released
- Black Cat, Judith Hawk, Elite Red, Fox Recon, Striker, yurika Young.
- Keep in mind, most of these skins has ither only gloves or sleeves
- these are made by SuddenAttack.
- Some are released in other servers and not in SANA.

3. Colored Weapon Skins
- PLACE THIS IN YOUR "TV" FOLDER
- When weapons are dropped onto the ground, they are in a solid color
- Rifle, gernade = Red
- TRG = Green

( I included a dtx viewer, so you can see what the skins look like)

INSTRUCTIONS

For DTX files
--------------------------------------------------------------

1. Download all the files attached to this thread
2. Go to your Sudden Attack folder, which mine is "C:\Program Files\GameHi_USA\SuddenAttackNA"
A fast shortcut would be just right click on the Sudden Attack icon -> properties -> find target.
3. Replace the Gvi.dat files in the SA folder with the newly modified gvi.dat file you just downloaded. Make sure you *replaced* the old gvi file.
4. Close all your SA stuff, and start Sudden Attack
5. SA should be starting to patch itself. it'll go from downloading to updating. this is normal, so just wait.
6. When the laucher says "updating" and the loading bar is at 80%, click start->run and enter %temp%.
7. A folder should open with bunch of random files. You now have to find a folder with a name of 8 random letters. When you find it, make sure the folder was just created.
8. Once you are in the folder, go to game->sa_weapon->skins->pv
9. Now replace the glove and sleeve file attached to this thread. Make sure you *replaced*
10. Wait for the SA launcher to finish loading. And then click start game.

btw MistaSparkle your thread is helpfull, really helpfull. but, your skins really fail .. lemme check.. Open TRG.dtx, CTRL + A (Select All), CTRL + U (Hue & Saturation), Lowest Saturation, Pick primary color - White, SHIFT - F5 (Fill) Opacity 100%, SHIFT - F5 (Fill) Opacity 50%. these are Pure silver skins..

golden are the same but only with orange color.. I think.. xD

I'm not good with photoshop. Sorry if the skins arent good enough for you. fag..

here is few tips.. go to net and dl as much patterns and brushes as you can.. I would like to post a link but this forum is against outside link.. and then the best things to use is that finger thingy to drag paint around, magic selector, use pattern overlays and brushes but to make good skins, expecially TV skins don't use 100% opacity, use like 50%-60% when doing some texting best things are Stroke, shadows, pattern overlays and texturing.. good things are also "fill" which u can access by pressing Shift + F5, and hue/saturation which u allready know of for making silver skins.. I hope I helped a bit..

and yea making your own gvi is easy.. I will probably make a video so stay tuned...
