Do you have the original reformat CD. Cause if you do, you can open the CD drive *fast*, and once the PC restarts, you can press I think f8(or on of the f's keys), and should skip directly to reformat you PC.
Okay so this virus, effed my computer up. A whole bunch of IPs were blocked after that cause of my firewall, so I restarted my comp, now it will say: Starting Windows... and then restarts automatically and cycles. I'm on my XP side of my dual boot so I can access the Windows 7 drive. I have tried system restore but that didn't work. Any helps or suggestions?

i think this is a blue screen error.i sujest format
Enter XP via Safe mode with networking and search
"Win XP restart cycle"
Happened to me before I hit Win7, I started in safe mode and I was fine, went to the startup parameters of my computer, forget what the name is, but it allows you to choose what gets started at the launch, disable anything you don't need (i.e: updaters, xfire, msn whatever, only you antivirus should be needed). Then scan you're PC for SPYWARE, ADWARE and VIRUS.
For Spyware and Adware you can get Spybot Search & Destroy, it's free and works well.
After that you can try Regcure, see if your registry has been damaged.
OR you can just format and lose everything

I'd reformat just to be safe.
