Community alert: stop buying Hotels.com

In the best interest of the community, this thread is to make the community aware of current status of Hotels.com accounts. I highly recommend not buying them anymore as I have reason to believe it is now patched, or in the process of being patched very shortly.

- You now have to call Expedia to book which means providing a bunch of information (identity fraud???)
- Most Hotels.com bookings are getting cancelled for fraudulent use.

With the influx of accounts showing up here on MPGH, this resulted in an increased amount of people booking through them and thus the saturation drove it into the ground requiring the company to take action. So.. if you do happen to book without being cancelled or requiring to call I wouldn't doubt your checkout to be within a few hours of checking in and in handcuffs.

You think paying 10% of that to MPGH sellers or any other website similar is the same as the actual booking price? Hah well good luck to you if it doesn't get into your head fraud is fraud no matter how small.

Thanks for the warning, was going to use this service for my summer vacation but is better to stay safe ... at the end, we go there for relaxation not to constantly watch our backs...
