Hah. I noticed on Apple forums that someone had a similar problem and the reply by the apple representative was ONLY to get repair and service. Nothing else. Just "go use our repair service".

Another possible way to get it off is Gasoline.
Literally put a little bit on a towel/rag/paper towel and start scrubbing.
It literally takes anything off. I use it to wash my hands after working on anything mechanical that deals with grease/oil (cars mainly).
Should prove to be better than the Rubbing Alcohol / Nail polish remover.
Hope it works and saves you a bit of money.
Need assistance?
Try using nail polish remover, that has to work or alcohol, if these dont work, well just get a case and cover up those ugly spots.
Maybe try toothpaste.
No, I'm not joking.
