Deobfuscating Warrock and Punkbuster

First off I am interested in deobfuscating or reverse engineering Warrock and Punkbuster. I will, in the, end hopefully allow Warrock to connect directly to the game servers and bypass Punkuster totally. If anyone would like to help me in any way or give me some suggestions I would be happy to accept them. Also to make my life easier what programming language is Warrock programmed in?

Wow, that's...quite an undertaking...and the programming language would probably be in C++...and you do know that by attempting this, you'll be violating the EULA(well, hacks do that, but modifying it that much is a little bit too far)

I say, reverse the mother fucker. I'd guess it's on C++ because it uses Direct X and stuff.

my guess is C++ but it doesnt matter because when its compiled its comverted the x86 ASM

good luck with this, my bet is you wont get far since you sound like you dont know what your doing...you can just bypass PB like that...it is an integral part of the server...if PB isnt functioning the server would instantly notice and kick you

Dude, if you have the source code and you know what to do with it you can make it do whatever the hell you want it to do.(Yes... you could even make it serve you drinks if you really wanted it to)

the server automatically drops the connection if its not getting anything from PB...you can always make it send fake heartbeats...but i doubt he knows how to do that
